NHS Endpoint Security

NHS Trust: Windows 11, Intune Modernisation & Microsoft Defender Migration

STP supported a Central London NHS Trust with Windows 11 readiness, Intune modernisation and migration from a legacy antivirus platform to Microsoft Defender.

The existing antivirus solution created high licensing costs while not delivering the level of endpoint security required. By moving to Microsoft Defender, the Trust could make better use of existing Microsoft licensing, improve endpoint protection and reduce duplicated spend.

The work involved as-is and to-be endpoint architecture, architecture decision papers, advisory board engagement, risk review, roadmap development and close collaboration with senior technology stakeholders including CTO/CIO-level leadership and operational managers.
